Water UK published Economic Insight’s report Options for household retail cost assessment at PR19, commissioned by Northumbrian Water and United Utilities. Our report highlights that there is a need for companies and Ofwat to actively consider the options available for retail household cost assessment at PR19 and, in particular, the choice between an “adjusted unit cost” approach and an econometric approach.
