Today, Sam Williams, a Director of Economic Insight, appeared as an expert witness before the Competition Appeals Tribunal in the first fast-track trial. Economic Insight is acting on behalf of Socrates Training Limited in relation to a claim being brought by the company against the Law Society regarding an alleged abuse of dominance relating to the Society’s “tying” of training to its Conveyancing Quality Scheme (Competition Act 1998).
