The Competition Appeals Tribunal has today published an application on behalf of Tobii AB (a manufacturer of adaptive and assistive communication technology for the disabled) for a review of the Competition and Market Authority’s decision to block the company’s merger with Smartbox. The grounds of Tobii’s appeal include claimed failings of procedural fairness and a failure by the CMA to collect sufficiently relevant and reliable evidence.
