Today, MOSL implemented a new algorithm for redistributing the charges trading parties pay for failing to meet certain standards relating to the efficient operation of the water market for business customers.
Economic Insight, with input from MOSL, the MPC and Ofwat, designed the new algorithm to ensure that it did not dilute the incentives trading parties face. Ofwat approved the new algorithm in late December.
