Yorkshire Water has today announced that it has rejected Ofwat’s Final Determination of its prices for the next 5 years. The company will now seek a redetermination at the CMA. The company has indicated that it is concerned with its penalty risk exposure under Ofwat’s determination, combined with an undue focus on short term cost reduction at the expense of longer term investment.
