Before joining Economic Insight, Johannes studied for a master’s degree in economics at the University of Cambridge. During his studies, he applied economic theory to a broad range of issues and gained experience in data analysis while researching practices in the software security industry. Johannes holds a BSc in Physics, Geography and Education from the University of Bonn, a first-class honours degree in Political Economy and an Associateship from King’s College London and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
