William Ward 


Will has extensive experience using data and economic theory to answer questions across a range of sectors, having spent time in both economics research and consulting.

Since joining Economic Insight, Will has worked across our key practice areas, in competition, regulation and public policy.  Will has worked on a range of projects, including: advising Dawsongroup in the follow-on claims for damages arising from the Trucks cartel being heard at the CAT; developing a pricing framework for a major port; and advising water companies across the UK in the lead up to PR24.

Prior to joining Economic Insight, Will studied for a Masters Degree in Economics at the University of Cambridge.  Will has previously worked for an IP Strategy Consultancy, where he gained valuable experience in business strategy, and for the University of Warwick, where he developed his econometrics and data analysis skills while researching public policy.

Will holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick (First Class Honours) and a MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge (Distinction).
